Viagra and related oral ED medications are not always the best treatment for all men. Is there an alternative when prescription ED drugs fail?
Over the past few years, men suffering from erectile dysfunction, (ED), the condition we used to call impotence, have been lead to believe that the “little blue pill” – Viagra, is the answer to all of their problems.
Viagra is a good drug, and it has helped to usher in a new awareness of ED, and an era of effective treatments for men suffering from the condition. However, Viagra, and similar pharmaceuticals such as Levitra and Cialis, are not right for every man.
For example, these drugs should not be used by men that are taking nitrates for heart disease. They also are not indicated for men with conditions such as high-blood pressure or diabetes.
Even in men without these conditions, Viagra and the other well-known oral ED medications have a variety of unwelcome side effects, some of which are intolerable for users.
Furthermore, there are many men that simply do not have satisfactory results from these drugs, and believe it or not, there are times when oral ED medications do not work at all!
Can ED Medications Increase Sexual Satisfaction?
Beyond the men that should just not take Viagra due to their health, or the drug’s side effects, there is also a common misconception about these drugs and how they work. Viagra and related oral ED medications can and do help a man achieve an erection, but the do nothing to increase sensitivity or sexual satisfaction.
This is why I believe that simply returning a man’s ability to obtain an erection should not be considered a “cure” for male sexual wellness issues.
In fact, a recent study of sexual satisfaction conducted in the UK found, that while men between 55 and 87 who had used Viagra and similar drugs reported higher levels of sexual activity than men without an ED issue, they also were more likely to be dissatisfied with their sex lives. This basically means that just being able to perform more often, does not necessarily mean you are engaging in better, or more satisfying sex.
What to Do When ED MEdications Do Not Work?
In my practice I look at the whole patient. Part of that is understanding that having a satisfying sex-life is not only contingent upon the ability to achieve sexual intercourse.
That is why I have developed my own sexual enhancement treatments that can do more than merely help you get and maintain an erection. I have treatments that can renew your sense of intimacy and sexual satisfaction, as well as treatments that can increase penis size, and new treatments that actually target the root cause of age-related erectile dysfunction.
Our new and improved Gains Enhancement® is one of the only medically proven, non-surgical procedures that can both treat ED, improve sexual performance in all men, and even increase penis size! It was created specifically for men seeking an alternative to Viagra or other oral ED medications.
The new Gains Enhancement now combines two of the safest, and most effective treatments recently introduced for male enhancement – the Priapus Shot, also known as the P-shot, developed by Dr. Charles Runels, and shockwave therapy.
The P-shot and Shockwave Treatment for ED
Shockwave therapy for ED has been used successfully in Europe for decades. However, it is very new to the U.S. We have developed our own specific protocols for shockwave therapy for male enhancement, known as the GAINSWave.
Blood vessels in your penis break down over time. This is the most common cause of age-related ED. The GAINSWave™ uses high frequency acoustical waves to open up old blood vessels, and to stimulate the formation of new vessels.
The resulting improved blood flow helps any man, and not just those with ED, to obtain stronger and more sustainable erections.
The acoustical waves of the GAINSWave™ are practically painless. The GAINSWave uses shockwave therapy protocols for ED, specifically developed by our medical staff.
The GAINSWave™ and the Priapus Shot are what we call “synergistic,” meaning that each one enhances the effect of the other. When we combine the two therapies to create the Gains Enhancement, we deliver a “one-two punch,” that results in improved sexual performance for any man!
